Privacy Policy
National Insurance Brokerage, LLC Effective date: 9/8/2026 Last updated: 9/8/2026
About this policy
National Insurance Brokerage, LLC (“NIB,” “we,” “us”) is an independent brokerage general agency based in Orlando, Florida. We work with licensed insurance professionals, financial planners, agencies, and other advisors who bring us cases to place with insurance carriers.
This policy explains what information we collect through niblife.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. It also explains how we treat information about your clients when you send us a case.
This policy covers our website only. It does not cover the privacy practices of the insurance carriers, general agents, or other companies we work with. Those companies have their own privacy notices and their own obligations to you and to your clients.
Who this website is for
This site is intended for use by licensed insurance professionals and other financial professionals in a business capacity. It is not a consumer quoting site, and we do not sell insurance directly to the public through it. Nothing on the site is an offer of coverage or a recommendation of a specific product.
Information we collect
Information you give us through the contact form
Our site has a single contact form. When you submit it, we collect:
- Your full name
- Your firm or agency name, if you provide it
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The reason you are contacting us, selected from a list (contracting, illustration request, underwriting question, case status, or other)
- Whatever you write in the free-text field describing your case or question
The form also records the page you submitted from, the page address, and the referring page address. We use that to understand which parts of the site generate inquiries.
Information about your clients
If you send us a case, you may include information about your client. That often includes the client’s age, general health picture, financial objective, coverage amount, and similar details. Depending on what you send, it may include health or medical information.
Please read this part carefully:
- Send only what the case actually requires. Do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, images of identity documents, or full medical records through the website form.
- You are responsible for having authorization. By submitting client information to us, you confirm that you have the client’s permission, and any authorization required by law or by your own firm’s policies, to share that information with a brokerage general agency for the purpose of shopping and placing coverage.
- The website form is not a secure transmission channel for sensitive records. If a case requires detailed medical documentation or identifying numbers, contact us first and we will arrange a secure method.
We treat client information you send us as confidential and use it only to design, shop, pre-underwrite, submit, and service the case you brought us.
Information you give us by phone or email
If you call or email us instead of using the form, we keep records of that contact and of the case information you provide, for the same purposes described in this policy.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server log information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you request, the time of your request, and the referring page. These logs support site security, error diagnosis, and abuse prevention.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to function, including cookies our content management system sets to keep forms working correctly and to prevent form abuse.
As of the effective date of this policy, we do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or social media tracking scripts on this site.
We may add analytics or advertising measurement tools in the future to understand how the site is used. If we do, we will update this policy and, where required, present a cookie consent notice so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the contact form from working.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your question, illustration request, or case inquiry
- Design cases and prepare carrier illustrations and comparisons
- Approach carriers on your behalf, including informal or trial underwriting inquiries
- Process contracting, appointments, and license tracking so you are cleared to write
- Submit applications and track cases through underwriting to issue
- Keep you updated on case status
- Maintain records required by carriers, by insurance regulators, and by law
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Send you occasional business communications about products, carriers, or our services, subject to the opt-out rights described below
Calls, texts, and emails
The contact form includes a separate consent disclosure about how we may contact you. In short: when you give us your phone number and submit the form, you agree that we may contact you at that number and email address, including by automated dialing system, prerecorded message, and text message, about your inquiry, contracting, and case status.
That consent is not a condition of doing business with us. You can request contracting or bring us a case by calling 800.291.7985 instead.
Message and data rates may apply. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. To be removed from our call and email lists, call 800.291.7985 or email casey@niblife.com.
How we share information
We share information only as described here.
Insurance carriers and their underwriters. To shop, pre-underwrite, and place a case, we share case information with the carriers we approach. This is the core function you are engaging us for.
Upline general agents, marketing organizations, and reinsurers, where a carrier relationship or contracting arrangement requires it.
Service providers. Companies that operate our infrastructure and business systems, including web hosting, email, agency management and CRM systems, e-signature and document tools, and phone systems. They may access information only as needed to provide those services to us.
Professional advisors. Our attorneys, accountants, and auditors, when needed.
Regulators and law enforcement. State insurance departments and other authorities, when required by law, subpoena, court order, examination, or a regulatory request, and when necessary to investigate suspected fraud or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.
In a business transaction. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your information, and we do not sell case or client information as leads. We do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep information
We keep case files, contracting records, and related communications for as long as needed to service the case and to meet carrier, regulatory, and legal recordkeeping requirements. Insurance records often have to be retained for a number of years after a policy ends, and retention periods vary by state and by carrier.
Inquiries that do not lead to a case are kept for a shorter period and then deleted or archived.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information in our care, including access controls, encrypted connections to our website and email systems, and vendor review. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use the guidance above about what not to send through the website form.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask what information we hold about you and ask for a copy
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete information, subject to the recordkeeping requirements described above
- Opt out of marketing emails, calls, and texts, as described in the section on calls, texts, and emails
To make any of these requests, contact us using the information at the bottom of this policy. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If you are asking on behalf of a client whose information you sent us, we will work with you, but the client’s own rights with respect to a submitted or issued policy generally run to the carrier that holds the policy. Contact that carrier directly for policy records.
State privacy laws
Residents of some states, including Florida, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia, have specific rights over their personal information under state privacy laws. Those rights typically include access, correction, deletion, and the ability to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Note that these state laws generally include exemptions for information collected and used in connection with insurance transactions, which is already regulated under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and state insurance privacy laws. Where an exemption applies, we handle information under those insurance rules instead. Where it does not, we will honor the state law right.
As a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, we are also subject to federal and state insurance privacy requirements, including Florida’s insurance information and privacy protection provisions, on how we collect, use, and disclose nonpublic personal information.
To exercise a state privacy right, contact us using the information below and tell us which state you reside in.
Children
This site is directed to insurance and financial professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this site. Case information about a minor insured or a minor beneficiary, submitted by a producer, is handled as case information under this policy.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to carrier sites, contracting portals, or other third-party resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
