Term Policy Recapture
The Term recapture policy (previously announced in January of this year) has been recently re-evaluated and changed from 13 months to 12 months (as outlined below). This change will be in effect retroactive to January 1st of this year. Recapture rule: We will recapture 100% of the paid compensation if a Term Essential or Term Elite policy lapses in months 1-6, and 50% of the paid compensation if the policy lapses in months 7-12. Term Essential and Term Elite are issued by Pruco Life Insurance Company in all states except New York, where they are issued by Pruco Life Insurance Company of New Jersey. Each is solely responsible for its own financial condition and contractual obligations. All are Prudential Financial companies located in Newark, NJ.
