IN Annuity Suitability Training Effective November 1, 2011
In addition to the variable licensing requirements communicated on September 9, 2011, Indiana has adopted producer training requirements that apply to producers who desire to sell, solicit, or negotiate any annuity product (non-registered fixed and variable). The regulation states that licensed life producers are required to complete a one-time 4-hour annuity training course and requires insurers to implement product-specific training for their producers.
